"Close your eyes and hold your breath. Prepare to fall into the sky".
As Above, So Below will be a point of reflection (literally and figuratively) on the playa. The 36" convex mirror will allow participants to see themselves as if they were being swallowed up from above and becoming one with the heavens above.
As Above, So Below is created with 80% found and salvaged materials. The convex mirror will be Gorilla-glued to grommetted canvas which will then be staked to the playa floor. All flowers will also be Gorilla-glued, with extra hot glue covering all points of attachment, to prevent pieces from tearing away.
